Management Skills and Processes
Teaching aims
The students are able to solve complex problems using CAE methods by team work. They get the comprehension of structuring a project including time management and all essential steps in a development process. The participants get practice in project planning and implementation including presentation. They grasp the development of technical products or processes. They learn the application of theoretical, numerical or experimental methods on complex and interdisciplinary problems within the field of Applied Mechanics. They have a good knowledge and skills in information management. The participants are able to carry out team development and team work. They are able to prepare and carry out effective meetings. They get practice in the application of project management methods and carry out effective project work. The students are able to write minutes and technical reports effectively. They improve and practice their communication skills.
The students get a solid comprehension of the fundamentals of project management including project planning, implementation, and controlling. They grasp time and resource management in projects. They get the comprehension of team processes and conflict management and are able to carry out effective team work. They are able to structure a project and get the knowledge of the essential steps in a development process. They get practice in project planning and implementation including presentation. They grasp team development and team work as well as project management methods and effective project work. The participants get the proficiency in writing of minutes and technical reports. They improve and practice their communication skills.
