Summer school for Doctoral Candidates

Summer schools are experiencing increased popularity, as they provide graduate students with the opportunity to intensively dive into specific themes from various perspectives—and in just a short period of time. Through summer school, software applications in addition to mathematical and physical aspects will be shared, research themes will be introduced, and projected solutions will be discussed. The summer school program is supported by selected simulation themes from CADFEM esocaet.

Summer school ‘‘Electromagentic Computations’’ at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal

This workshop at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal, offered since 2009, is intended for German-speaking doctoral candidates, who are active in the field of electromagnetic simulation. Within these weeks, the foundations of commutations in electromagnetic fields, along with potential formulations for solving simulation tasks, will be covered. To this end, the programs ANSYS Maxwell, ANSYS Mechanical and ANSYS Simplorer will be implemented. Additionally, current developments in electromagnetic simulation will be presented.
