Admission requirements
For admission to the postgraduate master's degree program you have to fullfil the following qualification requirements.
University degree
Necessary is a degree in the field of Engineering or Natural Sciences from a German university/institution of higher education, or from a Berufsakademie (university of cooperative education) with an overall rating of "good" or higher (minimum overall rating 2,5) or an equivalent degree from a foreign university with 210 ECTS credits.
An overall rating less than "good" can be balanced
- by evidence of a two year's work experience with an above-average performance or
- by an appropriate further education (at least level of a bachelor's program) of a volume of at least 10 ECTS credits with an above-average performance
Applicatants with a university degree with less than 210 ECTS but at least 180 ECTS may be admitted due to special conditions. Please contact us for further information.
Work experience
Admittance to the program requires a professional experience in the field of Engineering or Natural Sciences of at least one year after obtaining the university degree.
Proficiency in English
For the English course you have to proof proficiency in English accordingly to the level B2 of the Common European Reference Frame.
This could be for example an certificate or proof of a language training on the above named level. Proof of proficiency is not necessary if the applicant holds a university entrance certificate or university degree acquired in English, or the applicant holds citizenship of a country in which English is official language.
